Introducing the ReproJobs Salary Database

There is an unacceptable silence around salaries in the non-profit field, which keeps many of us earning less than our peers and less than we need to survive, and we are here to change that. Building on the work of many others who've argued for salary transparency, we're here to share a new ReproJobs resource: the first-ever public reproductive health, rights, and justice salary database (right now, specifically for jobs in the United States).

Search through the database here, and add additional salaries here. These entries are not moderated -- whatever you submit will automatically appear. Note: it works MUCH better on desktop than mobile.

We input all the salaries you shared with us in our salary/benefits survey from last year, and anonymized them. That means that you can search by region instead of by a specific state, by type of job instead of a specific job title, and by level of seniority. We also input salaries in ranges instead of exact numbers, unless you gave us an exact salary amount.

Here's how to use some of the basic features:

  • To search for specific criteria, click "filter" and "Add filter." Click the down arrow next to record and select what you want to filter by -- region, seniority, department, etc.

  • For the most part, we entered salaries by range. If you want to search for jobs by a specific salary, search using terms like: "$60,000 to $69,000" or "$20,000 to $29,000" instead of a specific number, which usually won't turn up results.

  • You can filter by multiple categories. For example, if you want to see all jobs in the Mid-Atlantic that are entry-level and make between $50,000 to $59,000,  click "Filter" and "Add filter." Click the down arrow next to "Record" and select "Region." In the drop-down menu, select "Mid-Atlantic." Then click "add filter" again, click the down arrow by "Record," and select "Level of seniority." Then select "Entry level." Click "add filter" again, click the down arrow next to "Record," and select "Total annual expected pre-tax income." Then enter: "$50,000 to $59,000."
